This policy describes the handling of information by the personal utility known as Monarch Sheets Automation.
The utility is run by its individual user on their own computer. At the user's direction, it retrieves the user's financial transaction information from the user's Monarch Money account and writes that information to a Google Sheets spreadsheet selected by the user.
To perform this task, the utility accesses transaction information made available through the user's Monarch Money account and the Google spreadsheet the user selects. It uses Google authorization to update that spreadsheet. It may also use the user's email account through Google's Gmail service to send the user a status notification about a run, if that feature is enabled.
The utility is operated locally on the user's computer. Transaction information is sent to the user's selected Google spreadsheet so the user can use it there. The utility's operator does not operate a separate server or database to collect or sell this information, and does not share it with third parties for advertising.
Authentication tokens or configuration files used by the local utility may be stored on the user's computer. The user is responsible for securing that computer and those files.
The utility interacts with Monarch Money and Google services, which are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. This utility is not affiliated with or endorsed by Monarch Money or Google.
The user controls the local utility, the destination spreadsheet, and any locally stored files it creates. The user can stop using the utility and can manage or delete information in their own Google account and on their own computer.
This policy may be updated if the utility's functionality or data practices change. For questions about this policy, contact hjfcfo@gmail.com.
